Ras Mohammed / Tiran Island

Where the Gulf of Aqaba meets the Suez Canal, a huge variety of Marine Life converges, resulting in some of the Worlds most spectacular wall diving, including the Shark and Yolanda Reefs, frequently voted in the world’s top 5 dive sites!

Diving in Sharm el Sheikh is mostly drift diving because of usually strong currents. All dive sites are accessible only by boat, starting from 2 jetties: Travco Marina close to Shar's "Old Market" and Na'ama Bay Jetty. To reach the Reefs in the Strait of Tiran in the very North or the Ras Mohammed National Park South of Sharm el Sheik, a 1h to 2,5h boat journey is necessarey, depending on the Jetty of departure.

Guided dive trips to Sharm el Sheikh's diving highlights can of course be planned and booked from Nuweiba!
